Need to pass the torch

Well I have really enjoyed our Bible study the past several weeks. David Capps is so passionate about teaching, and it really makes a difference in what we take home from class. I'm sorry it's been a while since I've posted, but things are obviously in flux around here. I really think this blog could be a great tool for our group, and I'm praying that God will raise up someone who would like to take it on. Please email me at hareed@suddenlink.net if you are at all interested. It's an easy, effective and efficient way to stay connected. I can walk you through posting if you're new to it, or if you're a pro I'll hand over the administrator privileges and you can run with it.

On a deeper note, I've got something in my heart for each of you. I'm working on getting it out on paper, and hopefully will have it posted by the end of the week.

Study Guides

Just letting you know you can catch a brief portion of the daily study for our class by going to http://cbclifegroup1-study.blogspot.com. I will be posting as I can, and would love for anyone interested to help me with this. I know some of you prefer online reading to "paper", and it would be a good opportunity for some of you to exercise your spiritual gifts. I'd love to give a different person one day each week to post and comment on the lesson for the day. If you are interested in committing to that, let me know. I'm sure our small group would love to hear different perspectives and applications as the Lord leads some of you to post. Hope to hear from you!

Make it Real.

OK, guys and girls. Call it like it is. I want to know your thoughts, ideas, complaints, frustrations, and visions for our Small Group. What would make our "Sunday School" hour, which I will from here on out refer to as "Small Group Time," meet your needs in a better way? Do you feel connected? Do you feel isolated?
